So I've been squirrelling away in the new year as it's always a quieter time for me. I tend to give the website a little freshen up and I especially wanted to concentrate on my product photos. If I look back at my original ones when I first started I tend to cringe! And don't get me wrong, I am nowhere near perfection, but things are looking better. I thought I'd share a few tips that helped me to improve from this:  to this: Now please don't take anything I say as gospel, these are just my experiences and findings, everyone will find out different ways and what works best for them.  TIP 1 - RESEARCH Reading, reading, reading - I can't stress enough how important it is to understand what your camera does and what you need it to do. It's a little late but happy 2014! And to welcome this year I have created some whimsical new small flower vases. My little Christmas Elves are worn out! Personalised Ceramic plaques deadline is Friday 6th December and they are piling up so don't miss out! Only today and tomorrow left to order these. Plus my personalised wooden items deadline such as photo frames has now moved to 12th December as I only have one pair of hands and want to make sure you get your order in time x

Whooo hoo! So I have completed my Christmas shopping! Really?! I have to though, because this is my busiest time of year for work I'm too tired to jostle along with tons of people in a crowded shopping centre. If I go shopping at all in December it has to be when I don't need anything and can enjoy wandering among the lights and atmosphere! So the decorations go up this weekend and the few Christmas cards will be written. I say few because we have been struggling with deciding whether to send or not this year? I wonder how much longer the Christmas card will really last. Carefully chosen this year is a list of people and family we don't get chance to see much or have contact with on Facebook (Yep sorry Facebook friends but you will be getting a very Social 'Merry Christmas' this year!) With the price of stamps increasing, unfortunately money dictates, it quickly adds up. So a busy weekend ahead! Shop news to mention is mainly my finishing dates. Personalised cer...
